On May 27, Erickson-Hall Construction Co., in collaboration with Arcadia Unified School District, celebrated the groundbreaking of Arcadia High School’s highly anticipated Building H and brand-new Performing Arts Center. The new buildings will provide students with modern spaces to learn, collaborate and perform for years to come.
“We are incredibly proud to kick off this campus upgrade,” said Lauren Cienfuegos, Public Information Officer. “These facilities ensure that when students are collaborating in the classroom or practicing on stage, they’ll get incredible, hands-on learning experiences. Working alongside Erickson-Hall allows us to turn our goals for this campus into a reality.”
Replacing 14 portable classrooms, the 14,700 square-foot Building H will serve as a massive, two-story hub for student innovation. The new facility features dedicated labs for robotics, engineering, food science, art and ceramics, as well as an outdoor ceramics yard, a general classroom and extra lab storage. The new 5,900 square-foot Performing Arts Center Annex will include a scene shop, costume shop and storage space for classrooms. Both projects also feature comprehensive site clearing, updated drainage and new hardscape to reshape the surrounding area.
