In May 2026, Clean Energy Alliance (CEA) celebrated five years of providing clean, affordable electricity to North San Diego County. To mark the milestone, the community choice energy provider tapped Tripepi Smith to develop a five-year impact report and an anniversary social media campaign, culminating with a community celebration event.
Since launching service on May 1, 2021, CEA has grown to serve approximately 256,000 customers across its seven member cities of Carlsbad, Del Mar, Solana Beach, San Marcos, Escondido, Oceanside and Vista. Over the past five years, the agency has reduced greenhouse gas emissions by more than 746,000 metric tons of CO2 and committed over $750 million to new renewable energy projects.
To highlight these achievements, Tripepi Smith designed a five-year impact report showcasing CEA’s commitment to clean energy adoption, customer advocacy, financial stability and community engagement.

In addition to the impact report, Tripepi Smith coordinated an anniversary social media campaign to build awareness and excitement for the future of clean energy in the region. The firm also designed posters for CEA’s anniversary celebration at the Agua Hedionda Discovery Center in Carlsbad.
The Tripepi Smith team’s efforts were led and overseen by Senior Business Analyst Peter Johnson and Business Analyst Kendall Lowery. Peter and Kendall were supported by Graphic Designer Jenna Cousineau, who designed the impact report and anniversary posterboards, and Junior Business Analysts Ted Hwang and Benjamin Smith, who led the social media content creation process.
