Tripepi Smith partnered with the Cities Association of Santa Clara County (CASCC) to develop and launch a redesigned WordPress website and updated logo. Built to improve resource-sharing among member cities, the new interface simplifies navigation to make key resources more accessible and serves as a comprehensive platform for tracking regional initiatives, meeting agendas and committee documents.
“We needed a website that would support our organization’s day-to-day operations while providing a better experience for our members,” said Tina Walia, President of CASCC and Vice Mayor of the City of Saratoga. “Tripepi Smith took the time to understand our needs and has been a valued partner throughout the process. The result is a modern, intuitive platform and refreshed brand identity that better reflect who we are and make it easier for our members to find the information and resources they need.”
A primary component of the project was the optimization of CASCC’s content and sitemap. Tripepi Smith worked with CASCC to organize existing data, revise the sitemap and build a clearer information architecture. As part of the transition, Tripepi Smith also redesigned the SCSC Roundtable archive into a single user-friendly webpage to preserve its history.
“Ensuring transparency and accessibility for CASCC’s member agencies was our top priority,” said Director Melanie James. “Our team appreciated the opportunity to collaborate with their staff to refresh their visual identity while providing a new website that enhances the user experience, supporting their organization and its continued growth.”
Director Melanie James led the project, and web developers Max Weirauch and Kathleen Mercado provided development and content transfer support. In addition to the new website, graphic designer Alexis Mendez refreshed CASCC’s visual branding with a new logo. The project concluded with a technical training session empowering CASCC staff to maintain and update the platform internally, while Tripepi Smith continues to provide ongoing hosting.
