For failing to turn in their disclosure paperwork – either from campaigns or as a regular part of holding office – multiple San Diegans were fined today. The penalties ranged from $100 to $1,500.

Two former San Diego City Council candidates received fines last week from the city’s Ethics Commission for failing to file campaign finance documents in a timely fashion when they ran for office in June.


The commission also fined seven city officials for failing to file their annual economic interest disclosure forms by the April 1 deadline.
