America Recycle’s Day is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to the promotion of recycling in the United States. Each year around the middle of November thousands of people around the country gather to make a difference in their communities.

The City of Barstow recognizes the importance of taking measures to care for the environment. This is why on November 15^th, the city chose to educate and provide outreach for the 3^rd and 4^th graders from Cora Harper Community Center.
November 15^th was proclaimed to be America Recycles Day. The City of Barstow invites all members of the community to log into the city’s website to “take the pledge”.
