Under administrative direction from the Assistant City Manager, the Director of Community and Economic Development provides executive leadership and oversight for the City’s Community and Economic Development Department, including economic development, planning and building safety The Director plays a key role in advancing City priorities, supporting community growth, and delivering high-quality services to residents and the business community. The City of Tracy is seeking a passionate, strategic, and collaborative leader with a strong record of success in community and economic development, municipal planning, building safety, and complex public-sector operations to serve as the Director of Community and Economic Development. The annual salary range for the Director of Community and Economic Development is $208,847.81 – $253,651.31; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
