In a cost-saving maneuver, some cities are opting to shut down their city hall offices on all days other than just Christmas Eve, Christmas and the New Year.

The city of Rocklin announced that it will shutdown its offices from Dec. 24 through Jan. 3, with the exception of emergency services. It’s something to think about for cities and counties looking to save costs during the holiday downtime.
