City Manager Becomes New County Administrative Officer

Former Ontario City Manager Greg Devereaux will become the new County Administrative Officer in San Bernardino.

Devereaux was the only one of 277 applicants to receive an interview, more than being “paper-screened,” Supervisors Chairman Gary Ovitt said.

Devereaux replaces Mark Uffer.

“We have seen the things that have taken place, both in Fontana to help turn that city around, and in Ontario, which is recognized as the leader in San Bernardino County,” Ovitt said, according to the Inland Daily News.
