Grandfalls, Texas is as small a city as they come. In fact, the 2000 census reported a population of 391 people in just 146 households.

But even the smallest of cities have top-level administrators and even those folks are capable of getting in trouble.

Midland, Texas news affiliate NewsWest9 reported that the City Manager of Grandfalls was arrested for criminal trespassing. City Manager Joe Gilbert turned himself in early April and this week will head to the courtroom.

According to the report, county officials say he intentionally went onto private property without consent. Gilbert said he was on-duty with the state health inspector that day.
