City of Hayward logoHayward Area Recreation and Park District is proud to announce that it has won four awards from the California Association of Recreation and Park Districts (CARPD). The awards were presented at the annual CARPD conference, which was held in Tahoe, California on May 18, 2023.

The competitive awards that Hayward Area Recreation and Park District received are:

– Outstanding Board Member-Mrs. Carol A. Pereira

– Outstanding Community Organization Partner-Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center

– Outstanding Community Landmark for the Hayward Plunge

– Outstanding Renovated Facility for Kennedy Park
