Tripepi Smith supported the California Community Choice Association (CalCCA) at its 2026 Annual Conference and 10-Year Anniversary Celebration, held May 12–14 in Sacramento. Centered around the theme “Powering Our Legacy,” the landmark event convened energy leaders, state regulators, lawmakers and Community Choice Aggregators from across California. Tripepi Smith provided comprehensive on-site multimedia and communication support, including videography, social media management and the production of an official recap video.

To capture the energy and milestone nature of the three-day gathering, Tripepi Smith deployed a comprehensive conference team, led by Principal Katherine Griffiths and Senior Business Analyst Peter Johnson. They were supported by Videographer Daniel Ceruti, who captured dynamic session footage, aerial views of Sacramento and interactive interviews with key speakers together with Peter. Business Analyst Olivia Rizzuto and Junior Business Analyst Ted Hwang drafted session recap posts and conducted tiny mic interviews with attendees to lead the on-site conference social media series.

Following the event, the TS team worked closely with CalCCA to edit and deliver a four-minute recap video, highlighting key conference discussions and insights from state energy leaders, such as California Natural Resources Agency Secretary Wade Crowfoot and California Public Utilities Commissioner Matthew Baker.

“This year’s annual conference was a landmark moment for CalCCA, full of insights, connections and energy,” said CalCCA Chief Experience Officer Leora Broydo Vestel. “The recap video turned out exceptionally well, and we appreciate our continued partnership with Tripepi Smith in bringing our annual conference to life.”

“This marked the fourth consecutive year Tripepi Smith has produced the annual conference recap video for CalCCA, making our collaboration with their team smoother than ever,” said Katherine. “CalCCA’s 10th anniversary was a monumental moment for Community Choice Aggregation in California, and our team was honored to capture the technical discussions and celebratory spirit that defined the event.”

The completed recap video and media library will support CalCCA’s ongoing digital outreach, member engagement and advocacy campaigns as local energy providers continue driving California’s transition toward a sustainable energy future.

About CalCCA

Launched in 2016, the California Community Choice Association (CalCCA) represents California’s community choice electricity providers before the state Legislature and at regulatory agencies, advocating for a level playing field and opposing policies that unfairly discriminate against CCAs and their customers. There are 25 operational CCA programs in California serving more than 15 million customers—over one-third of the state’s population—in 200+ cities and counties throughout the state.
