Clean Energy Alliance (CEA) has launched its Incentive Finder Tool, a powerful resource to help CEA customers easily find energy rebates, financial incentives and assistance programs. Customers are encouraged to use the tool now, as some federal tax credit programs are set to expire at the end of the calendar year.
“Our Incentive Finder Tool is designed to help customers identify opportunities to save money while continuing to make energy-smart choices for their homes and businesses,” said CEA Chief Executive Officer Greg Wade. “Some opportunities are expiring soon, so we hope the Incentive Finder can help our community members make the most of some limited-time savings available.”
Created in collaboration with Govcentives and available at CEA.Govcentives.com, the user-friendly tool determines the customer’s eligibility for a personalized list of programs and opportunities. It matches eligibility rules with simple customer information such as ZIP code, city, housing status (rent/own), household income, tax filing type and household size. Because it does not ask for personally-identifying information, it protects customer privacy.
The Incentive Finder tool connects CEA customers with:
- Rebates, tax credits, discounts and financing for a variety of energy-efficient home appliance upgrades
- Home and transportation energy measures, including electric vehicles, heat pumps and more
- Bill discount programs to help income-eligible households reduce monthly energy costs
- Programs from federal, state and local sources all in one convenient place
By simplifying the process and presenting results in one place, the tool makes it easier for residents to take action. Customers can act now to take advantage of federal tax credits set to expire, including those for home solar, battery storage and other qualifying upgrades like electric heat pumps. Through our partnership with GoGreen Financing, customers can also explore financing options for these improvements.
