The City of Aliso Viejo is excited to welcome our new City Manager, Brett Channing!
Brett brings more than 20 years of local government experience and a strong background in municipal leadership. Since beginning his public service career in 2004, he has served in several key leadership roles throughout Southern California, including Deputy Director of Administrative Services and Assistant City Manager.
He has overseen a wide range of municipal functions, including:
• Community Services
• Planning and Development
• Public Works
• Finance
• Human Resources
• Information Technology
Brett’s broad experience reflects his commitment to effective leadership, innovation, and public service.
He earned his Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California and is actively involved in professional organizations.
We look forward to the leadership, experience, and vision Brett will bring to the Aliso Viejo community!
