Hello!
My name is Amy Gallagher, and I am the new managing editor of PublicCEO. It is truly an honor and a pleasure to step into this role and continue to make PublicCEO the reliable publication our readers look forward to every day.
I’d like to extend my deepest gratitude to Ethan de la Peña for his excellent contributions as the previous managing editor of this publication. From all of us on the team, we wish him nothing but the best in his new role with the City of Clovis as their communications and marketing specialist.
I have served as an editor on the PublicCEO team for the last four years. Now as managing editor, I am thrilled to continue working hard in this new role to curate timely news and fresh perspectives for local government staff, elected officials and other leaders.
Our team of three works daily to consistently deliver an email at 10 a.m. to the inbox of over 19,000 local government folks. We constantly get feedback from the local government community that PublicCEO is a daily must read for them. That truly fills our cup here at PCEO.
We have additional exciting developments to share soon, including a new content series and a new mobile app, but for now I want to assure you that we will work hard to bring the local government community together and be a great daily read that shares the word of local government progress.
