Colusa County logo(COLUSA, CA) December 9, 2024 – The Colusa County Board of Supervisors is pleased to announce the appointment of Cindy Dillard as Colusa County Treasurer-Tax Collector. Ms. Dillard has served as the County’s assistant treasurer-tax collector since 2016. Her appointment comes following the retirement of Daniel Charter.

“We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Dillard. As the County’s current assistant treasurer-tax collector, she brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that will allow for a seamless transition of this critical role,” said Supervisor Gary Evans, chair of the Colusa County Board of Supervisors. “We are confident that she will continue to provide sound financial stewardship for our County.”

Ms. Dillard’s career in Colusa County has spanned 35 years. As assistant treasurer-tax collector for the last eight years, she has managed all operations of the treasurer-tax collector’s office and has been dedicated to mentoring and developing staff, improving efficiencies, and providing exceptional service to Colusa County constituents. In addition to her work with the County, Ms. Dillard has also held various positions at several private financial institutions, including Bank of America, Feather River State Bank, and Farm Credit.

“I am grateful for this opportunity and I am committed to building working relationships with the Board of Supervisors, County department heads and staff, and the public to produce quality work, and provide excellent service,” said Dillard.

Ms. Dillard has been appointed to serve the remainder of Mr. Charter’s four-year term from Jan. 7, 2025 to Jan. 5, 2027, with the position up for election in June 2026.
