The City of Alhambra will begin offering a second round of COVID-19 testing for residents starting on Monday.
Alhambra residents can start making appointments through the city’s website at https://www.cityofalhambra.org/resources/coronavirus-testing to get tested.
Residents can drive or walk to Second Street and Main Street behind Alhambra High School, to get the free nasal swab. The site is open Monday – Saturday, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., July 20th through August 11th by appointments only.
The site is staffed by Vital Medical Services. The testing process takes between 5 and 10 minutes but wait times may vary. Results will be returned within 12 – 48 hours.
Funding for the second round of testing is made available under the CARES Act. The City held the first round of COVID-19 testing in May and tested a total of 1,599 residents that month.
