The City of Victorville has selected Rolland Kornblau as its new Technology Officer following a comprehensive recruitment effort led by Tripepi Smith Talent Solutions (TSTS).
Rolland Kornblau brings 26 years of public sector experience across municipal IT leadership, capital development and financial administration. He joins the Victorville team after serving as Director of Information Technology for the City of San Bernardino, where he guided his team through enterprise ERP deployments, network security enhancements and grant-funded fiber infrastructure expansion. Rolland previously led technology operations for El Rancho and Whittier City school districts. He holds a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Northridge. Rolland also holds a Certified Government Chief Information Officer (CGCIO) credential through Rutgers University and maintains an active membership with the Municipal Information Systems Association of California (MISAC).
The search was directed by Executive Recruiter Christine Martin, with support from Recruitment Coordinator Morgan Teruel and Assistant Recruitment Coordinator Sofia Gonzalez. Guided by an in-depth recruitment brochure, the TSTS team conducted an extensive campaign that generated a robust candidate pool of nearly 70 applicants for this role. The effort successfully attracted top-tier municipal technology executives capable of driving digital transformation and supporting the evolving needs of the Victorville community.
