The City of Carson is pleased to announce the hiring of Ms. Crystal Williams as the City’s new Human Resources Director.
Ms. Williams is an accomplished and forward-thinking human resources leader and consultant with over 20 years of experience implementing and impacting various human resources functions in the private and public sectors. She is well seasoned in the areas of employee relations, recruitment, workplace injuries, investigations, discipline, and equity matters, to name a few. With a leadership style that is committed to growing and motivating an organization’s most valued assets, she champions an inclusive workplace where all employees can thrive and feel good about their place of employment.
Ms. Williams holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Woman’s University and a Juris Doctorate degree from Western State University College of Law.
“We are looking forward to having Crystal join our executive leadership team and are confident she will be instrumental in assisting the City move forward given her talent and experience,” said Mayor of Carson Lula Davis-Holmes.
“We are pleased that Crystal has decided to join the Carson family. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the director position,” said City Manager David Roberts.
As the Director of Human Resources, Ms. Williams is charged with planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating a comprehensive Human Resources program and administering recruitment and retention of all employment opportunities, professional development training programs, and managing employee grievance process as needed for the City of Carson.
