The City of Lodi is pleased to announce that Jamie Bandy has been selected as its new Administrative Services Director, following a comprehensive search conducted by Tripepi Smith Talent Solutions.
Jamie Bandy returns to Lodi with over 20 years of public sector expertise, mostly recently as the director of finance for the El Dorado Irrigation District. Her extensive background spans municipal finance, labor relations and internal operations, including the oversight of multi-million dollar capital programs and complex regional utility budgets. Bandy is a familiar face in the community, having begun her career in public service in the Budget and Administrative divisions of the City of Lodi. She earned an Executive Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Humphreys University. She is an active member of the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO) and Women Leading Government.
“Bringing Jamie Bandy back to Lodi is a significant win for our organization,” said Lodi Interim Internal Services Director Christina Jaromay. “Her deep understanding of municipal finance and her proven track record in modernizing internal operations make her the ideal leader to oversee our Administrative Services Department. With TSTS’ assistance, we identified a candidate who has a technical skill set and a genuine connection to our community.”
The search was led by Executive Recruiter Christine Martin, with support from Recruitment Coordinator Morgan Teruel and Assistant Recruitment Coordinator Sofia Gonzalez. The recruitment team developed a strategic campaign that emphasized Lodi’s unique charm and the opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team across finance, human resources and information technology. Through an intensive screening and interview process, the City found a leader ready to drive modernization and organizational growth.
“Lodi presented a premier opportunity to find a director who can balance fiscal stewardship with collaborative leadership,” said Christine Martin. “Jamie’s progression from a Lodi Budget Analyst to an executive leader is a testament to her dedication to the profession. We are excited to see her step into this role for the City.”
“I am excited to return to the City where my career in local government began,” said Jamie Bandy. “I look forward to working alongside the talented staff and leadership team to ensure we provide the highest level of service and financial stewardship to Lodi’s residents.”
